Originally from Argentina, Ben Gomez-Villafane now calls Santa Cruz home. We first met Ben when he was a 12 year old from, creeping around out CX set-up, sneakily slapping sticker on our bikes. We liked the way he rolled, his easy going attitude and his tenacity tackling the local pro fields as a junior. Over the years we watched him learn to bunny hop barriers, we stood in muddy cyclocross pits readying his machine and have been there with high fives and hugs when he took his Jr National and Pan American Championships. We have been patiently waiting for the right time to add him to the Squad and we couldn't be more excited to help launch him into his Elite Pro Career.
